And why did they renovate those two stations?Someone at the MTA found the original wall tile design of the Broad Street station, which was more in-tuned with the rest of the BRT/BMT stations along the Nassau Street line. It was originally proposed along with Fulton Street to have it as part of the Dual Contracts back then. So, when it came time for one of the Capital Programs to include those two stations, along with 8th Avenue on the 14th Street Line, the agency decided to have them done in consistency with the other older built stations.
