You answered your own question.The longer it takes, the more ways to create more corruption there are. The more corruption, the more people are bought into it. The more people who buy in, the more durable the corrupt regime is. The plan seems to be run it till it drops, then have Uncle Sam print money to bail NY out. That already happened last year with Federal payouts to underfunded city and state pension plans, and probably to a dozen other things not disclosed in any news media. |
