Posted by ntrainride on Sat Nov 27 16:22:56 2021, in response to Tuscarora Almanac for November 27, posted by IRTRedbirdR33 on Sat Nov 27 11:28:35 2021. dude. if that's all yours...holy thorough examination of a particularly juicy bit of deep brooklyn transit data, batman.having lived adjacent to both the brighton line and the sea beach line i sure as hell would have endeavored to ride that nx. well at least i did get to commute on the express routings of the j, n and d trains. express from broadway junction to marcy avenue was about the coolest. although it was always satisfying to enter 59th street the express track when riding the n. especially if a local was there. the interplay was exciting in a rail fan sense. same with the interplay between locals and expresses from kings highway to prospect park. loved the times express would pass three locals and get to prospect park first. did get a few rides on the west end express tracks too, now and then. all cool real life b.m.t. fun. rolling express over new utrecht avenue late at night was nice. amidst the towers of manhattan the subway entrances for b.m.t. always seem like the path home. |
