I've seen pics of the D train at Smith-9th. Before I knew all this history, I never understood that.

I had seen maps showing the BMT using what are now the IND tracks on the bridge. But I had thought the BMT used the south side tracks, leaving the north side tracks unused from the day the bridge opened until 1967.
