The train shoved the whole way in revenue service? IIRC when trains shove like that, the conductor calls out how many feet/cars that the train is good for over the radio, but the engineer has to be prepared to stop within half of said distance (i.e. if the conductor calls out 20 cars the engineer has to be ready to stop within 10 cars), so that must have been a really slow ride. |
