Which was a ridiculous promise to make,as well as keep.The way the local tracks are arranged, every thing is Queens bound heading north and Church st lower Manhattan bound heading south. Since they do NOT follow that arrangement,all trains head to Houston st..while 8th Ave trains head downtown to WTC and Brooklyn. The D was the primary Hudson Terminal service at the time the New service was available for use,while the E TRAIN USED SMITH ST. |
