That leaves just the 2000's, 3000's and 16 of the 6000's in service. Too bad they scrapped the 5000's.My understanding is all 180 of the 6k cars have been returned to service. Seems the NTSB has discovered that the wheels on the axles were slipping out of gauge (wide) ‘This could have been catastrophic’: NTSB says Metro wheel problem that caused Blue Line derailment dates back to 2017.
