From the announcement "The new bridge is a modern two track, high level, fixed-span bridge that will improve service and capacity"..... It's two tracks. If they ever build the new tunnel under the Hudson there could be and should be a third track between NYP and Secaucus. They always said the present one track is at capacity now [24-27 trains per hour]. Is this bridge going to have expansion capabilities for a third track? |
