I'll have to look closely, or just see for myself and go there. Even before Covid I had retired from my job with the 31st floor view of the Chrysler building.Everybody points out the gargoyles on the building, but did you know that in brick around one third to halfway up there is a ring of cars pictured? It is hard to see from street level as there is no clear view, except from 3rd Av in the mid 40s somewhere. It is the same level as the wings right before the final setback. Even with the clear view it is hard to see. It really helps to be looking straight across at it. |
