Posted by Allan on Sat Sep 18 14:08:15 2021 All 12 cars on the shuttle have had the seats removed (except for the 2 pairs of seats at each end of the car).I guess that makes these cars somewhat permanently assigned to the shuttle. Track 1 1955 (Grand Central end) 1939 1932 1935 1933 1936 (Times Square end) [These cars do not have the LEDs on the side sign panels] Track 4 1949 (Grand Central end) 1908 1948 1947 1944 1943 (Times Square end) [These cars DO have the LEDs on the side sign panels] Maybe these cars should have another identifier added besides R62A - perhaps they should add "SR" for Seats Removed. Such as Car 1955 R62A/SR |
