If you mean “AB” as in BMT 67 footers, that would not be possible since the Flushing Line cannot clear 10 ft wide cars. When I was a Tw/M at Astoria on the midnight, the revenue collector picked up both the Flushing and Astoria lines. I know there was a #3A collector on the IRT but I don’t remember what it picked up. The revenue from the Queens collector transferred the night’s money to one of the collectors at T/Sq which then brought the money to a direct collection point with access to the Jay St money room much like the one N/O Lawrence St and the BMT and in Jay St station on the IND. |
