I remember going to Lincoln Road overpass (by Prospect Park station) and waiting for the "new trains" to come, maybe with a friend. I was 9 at the time. Can you imagine a 9 year old being allowed to go watch the trains these days by himself? While I didn't have to cross any streets it was still a long way from my building on that long uninterrupted block between Lincoln and Parkside. |
