I agree, though they would probably have to move some machinery around to make 4 cars sets in 3's and 4 car sets in 5'.Minority oddballs do not survive on large transit systems, and they will want the end once and for all to SMEE-derived equipments with H2 couplers. Even now, is there anything stopping them from putting the AA sets of R46's on the Shuttle, and put 8 of the 9 R68's back into main line service other than re-equipping them with side destination signs ? |
