The open gangway style will also be cool when that gets delivered.Goodbye isolating a car, and continuing in service. It will take too long to isolate a 5 car unit, discharging is the only option. Also you would have 1/2 the train in service, which means you have 1/2 the people on the platform rushing towards the open half. On the midnights you now have a 40 minute gap in service. ** This only applies if there is no provision for isolating individual cars in the unit, but without storms doors I cannot envision how. Remains to be seen, I may be wrong, who knows. |
