Well, they are new and shiny, but what brutal design!Oversize doors may make getting on and off slightly quicker, but what about the quality of the time spent riding? Reduce all longitudinal seating and smaller windows surely also reduce the quality of the riding experience. The colors would not be my choice, but I'm willing to concede that to a matter of taste. What are they going for here? Can efficiency not be achieved without sacrificing aesthetics? It's a shame that rolling stock as comparatively elegant as the R-46 will be replaced by these high-tech but ugly cars. |
