Posted by Allan on Tue Jun 15 15:12:55 2021 I was just browsing around and came across the obituary for Lothar Stelter, the man whose wonderful photographs of the 3rd Avenue El was made famous in the book "By the El" written by his son Lawrence.Lothar died December 21, 2019 at age 88. I could not find any mention in the Subchat "archives" so I figured, better late than never to pay honor to a notable photograper. |
