There are the same six components whether they're arranged platform-track-track-track-track-platform (the typical local layout) or track-platform-track-track-platform-track (the typical express layout). I suppose that the express station platform might have to be wider, since they serve two tracks each rather than just one, but how great is the ususal difference??
