There's a shopping center on Staten Island, at the corner of South Avenue and the West Shore Expressway, now home to a Burlington Coat Factory, a NYS DMV office, and a few other businesses. When it was being constructed in 1990 or so, several headless bodies and several severed heads were discovered. Most, though not all of the bodies could be matched up to heads.I understand that there were several heads for which they found no body and several bodies for which they found no head. That area had once been a wilderness, and was therefore, a useful dumping ground for organized crime. |
