Technically, 174-175 hangs above the Cross Bronx and a street, a good seventy feet or so over the highway. It's an elevated underground station! In other words, unlike stops north of there, which are buried in the actual bedrock (and therefore "low", not "high", this one is structurally part of a bridge. |
