I figured 34 Av instead of Northern Blvd so that local trains wouldn't stop at two stations called "Northern Blvd" 3 stations apart. The block is about 600 feet long so it could have entrances at both.And I included Astoria Blvd. I'd position the station with northern exits at 23 Av and main entrance at Astoria Blvd. Alternatively, the station in that area could be under the GCP, with exits at 23 Av and along Ditmars Blvd, to better serve the residential blocks north of the GCP. Name it, I dunno, "81 St/Ditmars Blvd" or something since it's very close to that block. It would be very close to the Terminal A station, but that's not much of a concern IMO because it's not the same as overlapping the catchment areas of local stations. |
