Also on February 27, 1995, the move from Denver's Stapleton International Airport to the new Denver International Airport began. All through the day, a never-ending convoy of vehicles transported materials and other items from one site to the other. Of course, DIA has not been without its flaws. The baggage system was never fully functional, and ultimately they gave up on it and went back to the tried-and-true tugs and carts method of moving and loading baggage. |
