At least some systems have a "railfan view"

Miami Metrorail (the Budds, I don't know if the new Hitachis have the same thing, as I have yet to ride one)

That was at the south terminal, Dadeland South. The train would switch to the northbound track upon leaving.

MMTA has the same Budds, don't know if they have new ones. The Breda cars on L. A.'s Red B and Purple D lines also have them (same general internal layout as the Miami/Baltimore Budds), but the last time I was there in 1999, the RFV window was majorly tinted, and since it is all underground, hard to see anything 😕 Hopefully, they've gotten rid of that tint
