The big push nowadays is the discretionary weekend & holiday travel business. As for Metro-North, NJT & LIRR. Pre pandemic "off hour" numbers were promising. If the work from home option continues to work out for many instead of few, weekend travel might be the Railroads new bread and butter. Just get over the pandemic, open up the City & take it from there. The subways should also get a bump in numbers on the weekends.
