Re: Vancouver Skytrains

I'm not sure of your question. The Millennium Line always had two termini. At one point (2002-2006) the line went from Waterfront to Commercial Broadway via New Westminster and around the hook.

But there was no one-seat ride from places like Renfrew and Rupert to go to Waterfront unless you went the "wrong" way all the way back around the hook and via New Westminster. If you were at Renfrew or Rupert you either took a short ride to Commercial Broadway and transferred upstairs for a Waterfront-bound train (which could be working either the Expo or the Millennium lines) or, much less likely, you could go the "wrong" way and enjoy a one-seat ride all the way around the hook.

Most of the ROWs have only 2 tracks. Where there is need to terminate a train with other trains going through (such as Production Way--University today) there are usually storage tracks for relays to avoid interrupting service. Offhand I can't think of any places with 4 tracks alongside each other on the SkyTrain network.

I may not be getting the question; if you could specify what exactly you mean maybe I can help further.
