I have seen so many subway trains in movies with non-existent routings that I realize it's on purpose. I can't understand the reason, though.

In the Warriors, I remember and R27 or R30 signed up as an L.... I doubt they ever actually ran in service with that designation- at least not before the 1985 elimination of double letters.
