Posted by Train Dude on Mon Jan 25 01:23:38 2021 According to BNSF - multiple cars of a freight train derailed about 2PM local time near Winslow, AZ. No reported injuries and no toxic or hazardous materials were involved. As of now, that train is still being repaired/rerailed - 8 and 1/2 hours later. Southwest Chief is blocked and is being held in Albuquerque, NM until the train is cleared. |
