There was an article about this LIRR-BRT service in a Headlights issue during the mid to late 1960s. I hopefully still have that issue in a manila folder in my filing cabinet in my storage unit.I don't remember specific issue date and year. My car's check engine light is on so I don't feel comfortable traveling the 12-15 miles west to where my stuff is stored, and I'm on LOA from work which is close to the storage building. I'm sorry I cannot currently be of more help right now. If I could, I'd travel to my storage unit and dig out the Headlights folder and get the issue info. I will put it on my future to do list; hopefully you can find out the cite to the Headlights issue sooner. |
