I have a friend who was an on-camera reporter for a TV station in Columbus, Georgia, the job he went to J-school for. Before getting hired there, he was a flight attendant for a legacy airline. He went back to being a flight attendant after a year, because the TV news gig paid less than the airline did. Those men and women on your TV screen are NOT rich, not even close, unless they're anchors. |
