Did they not want to run the Triplexes under their own power, or were they incapable of doing so? Steve: This happened more than once on fantrips with the steeple cab and the D-Types. The idea was to give railfans the treat of having there train by by a locomotive. Nevertheless there were time during the trips when the triplexes did all the pushing and the steeple cab just went along for the ride. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
