I wonder what the BMT crews must have thought about having to change the taillights manually since all BMT prewar equipment had taillights that changed from red to white with the throwing of the reverser not to mention the lack of tripcocks that could be reset from the cab and the lack of a safety interlock to prevent the train from moving with the doors open. |
