What is with the raised walkway below the platform on the right side.I recall those at DeKalb Ave. in 1950s before the station platforms were extended northward. They were on the curve at the south end of the platform. There was in a gap between train doors and platform, and it appeared that these were to catch anyone who may have fallen into the gap. (Just speculation on my part.) |
