Well The current Van Wyck Expwy pretty much follows the path of the original VanWyck Blvd. There are a few other avenues and boulevards that ended up as routes for highways. In the Bronx, Deegan Blvd became the route of the Major Deegan Expwy, and Horace Harding Blvd evolved into the Horace Harding Expwy which is now the LIE. |
