They could, at that.I'd say that the MTA has blown more than enough on ESA to build a tunnel under the Tappan Zee from Irvington to Piermont and also the former Piermont Branch to Suffern, electrified (with Metropolitan MUs), allowing for GCT to Port Jervis using dual-mode P32AC-DMs and Shoreliners. Neither Rockland nor Orange Counties have gotten their money's worth unless that happens. (Right?) |
