Andy -Yes, I ate in that particular 42nd & 3rd H&H AUTOMAT a few times with family before the EL was closed and removed --- and a number of times later myself between 1960 and 1964 for lunches. I ate in numerous H&H AUTOMATS -- there was a large one in my upper east side neighborhood I and my family used a lot in the 1950's and 60's -- about 1/2 block west from the EL also. |
