Mark, thank you for posting these. I especially liked the one about the Centre St subway early construction. As you head to Broad St on the "J", there was a wall pocket on Centre St, after the tracks curve left from Kenmare St. I was unaware that this was for a Grand St connector tunnel to the Desbrosses St Ferry. I thought
that the spur was to have run to the Spring St Ferry, via Cleveland Place. Live and learn!
