The last time I was over there the North/Queens side was Jamaica Ave and the South/Nassau side was Jericho Turnpike.

Even though now it's all Jericho Turnpike the North/Queens and South/Nassau split remains. If I'm not mistaken the dividing line runs down the middle of the roadway.
Which brings up an interesting what-if scenario from the very recent past. During the riots in early June when the city imposed a curfew, it would have been illegal to drive west on that road segment between two Nassau County locations because the westbound lane is on the Queens side and the driver would have had to cross into the city. As far as I know the NYPD didn't make any attempts to enforce that, however.
