The magnet valves were interchangeable, were they not? I vividly remember the, "tchhhhhhh" sound the BMT standards made as they came to a full stop, as well as the, "tch-ssssss" sound on the R-1/9s. Although I never rode on the Triplexes, I understand they had the same magnet valve as the R-1/9s. |
