Most people are chained to jobs they dislike at best, hate at worst, because they have dependents, a mortgage, etc. At 76 I was out this afternoon looking at a small potential job. we will correct inconveniences and a couple of hazards in a penthouse built on the cheap (but not priced that way). Aside from a stellar view of SF Bay, they are 2 blocks from the UP (former SP) mainline through Oakland which hosts San Joaquins, Capitol Corridor trains, and the Amtrak Coast Starlight as well as freights. |
