You can see the schematic of that area on page 23 of this interlocking diagram showing the track numbers. There may have been some construction east of that concrete wall on Pitkin at Grant Av, but the mystery is how far did it go? Someone once posted here there was a huge mound of soil on the median of Conduit Blvd at Pitkin. Maybe it was used to backfill the abandoned portion of the tunnel beyond the wall. |
