Here in metro Denver, you can get from the airport to Union Station downtown for $10.50, which is good system-wide on light rail, commuter rail and bus. What I don't like is if you leave your car at the RTD Park'n'Ride at 61st Ave., the last stop before DIA, you still have to buy an airport pass for $10.50. With the automated fare collection system we have, they could easily set it up so that if you're going to the airport from 61st Ave, you could buy a one-way ticket at half fare. Maybe I shouldn't complain too much; in a year and a half, I'll be eligible for a senior citizen discount. |
