I never saw them on the LL (I left NYC in late August 1976). Did ride them on EE and GG. Maybe they got transferred to ENY later in 1976 (since Jamaica was getting in R-46). Speaking of EE, my last full day as a NYC resident (8/27/76) was the last day of service for the EE (and the K, and the E going to Brooklyn during peak hours). |
