Doesn't the L have that one station where one direction is outdoors and the other in subway? Might be Wilson Av. Strangest thing I ever saw. I assume there was a reason they had to build it that way. That would be Wilson Avenue. The entire station is above ground with the Canarsie bound trains on the upper level and the Manhattan bound trains on the lower level. Because it is enclosed the lower level gives the false impression that it is a subway station. The reason for this is that the Canarsie Line is right up against Holy Trinity Cemetery.
