When DC Transit ended streetcar service in 1962, they pulled the side signboxes out of the PCCs to re-use on the next order of buses. They were however generous with the oil cloth rolls from the fronts of the cars. Mine, acquired by phoning and requesting, is currently displaying 36TH & Prospect NW. |
