I'm sure the original stubs did not even exist north of 53 St. I remember heavy wooden timbers supporting 6th Av traffic in front of the Hilton Hotel in 1966 so that was all new subway construction from 53 St north. I doubt if there was anything other than trackways in the stubs below 53 St. |
