A few years after I graduated from UConn, they hired a new marching band director who immediately tried to erase the past. He threw away who knows how many scrapbooks, arrangements and other memorabilia. Some of it was thankfully salvaged, but a lot of history was lost. He lasted about six years before moving on. |
