You're welcome!Not transit related: That night the Kinks were a bit ragged. Ray Davies was unfortunately a bit "tight", and at one point stumbled and fell over but got up. Either he or Dave forgot some of the lyrics to Death of a Clown. They premiered some, or most of their album "Arthur" that night. Spirit encored with "Mechanical World" well past 2 am. Transit related: Ray and Dave Davies grew up at 6 Denmark Terrace, north London. Closest station to their home is East Finchley. Dave Davies said growing up, he wanted to be a train driver on the Underground. |
