Slight correction, where the El went through those were always CO-OPs. The Housing Projects were further East(Across Classon Ave.)I did not mean to imply that this was a public or low income housing project. Whoever the developers were created a superblock by removing that stretch of Grand Avenue. I consider that type of development a housing project, just as I do Willoughby Walk between Myrtle and Willougby Aves. |
