As I had mentioned before in another post, although the iRT originally felt that the grades in the tube required special gearing, it was later found out that as long as there were no trailers in the consists, standard Lo-Vs worked just fine and on a couple of occasions some standard geared Lo-Vs were actually transferred to and operated on the IRT Queens lines. |
