Elkeeper: I had always thought that the dead ended track at Canal St was for LIRR trains, which ran on Centre St until Labor day, 1915. I guess we all forgot about the extra traffic from the LIRR in this thread!To which I responded "I think you mean 1917." I know it's hard to remember where we are in a thread. |
