It was a cold, rainy Sunday and once our bus from Paterson arrived at PABT, my father was off to the BMT to visit his elderly cousin, who'd been hospitalized. My mother, sister and I took a three-car AA train to 81st St. to continue our exploration of the Museum of Natural History. My father joined us there a few hours later and mentioned that the train he was on (either an N or QB) had to wait at the bridge for an inordinate period of time. That ruled out any additional subway riding except for our return trip to PABT. |
